If you don't have a right angle drill buy this drill

Had been hesitant to buy this for a long time read all the reviews and understand the complaints about the directional switch ergonomics I found it fairly easy to get used to , and it works pretty well but can get in the way for some jobs. I also get complaints about the length but it makes it flimsy, I was considering getting a Ryobi too but it's huge in comparison and the battery is a monster, on this one with a smaller M12 1.5 or 2 .0 battery, it is quite compact a bit long. I was concerned about the paddle shifter, but it worked great and is easy to use in awkward situations, and the speed switch is in the perfect spot for you to set and not hit. I bought it to drill half holes in the crankshaft and half in the pulley for a GM LS engine as they don't have a key and are only pressed in to allow them to rotate on the shaft in belt driven superchargers, so selling they pin sets they didn't turn. Difficult to get in there with the engine and radiator installed so this drill made the job a lot easier and power wasn't an issue. I originally drilled the pin with a stock balancer and used a stock Ryobi drill, which required pulling out the heatsink and flipping the motor until the hole was in the right place. It took forever to drill the hole. I drilled through the hole with this bit and didn't have to worry about where to put the hole, it just fits. The only thing I wish was a power indicator like some of my other M12 brushless tools. It's definitely a problem solver and might not be something you'll use every day, but it's definitely worth it. It's got serious torque for a small tool (well, it's small, but still a decent size) that fits into tight spaces. The chuck worked well and was small enough but still tight enough for keyless entry. I don't know how it will hold up under heavy use but I'm glad I have it. I should have put it on the shelf a long time ago as I've had many issues that it could help with, but I'm glad it's here now.
