Review on Fellowes LX22M Powershred Shredder 5263501 by Trevor Rodke

I wanted a paper shredder that could help me deal with the flood of Revain boxes that had recently filled my house and allow me to use them as worm or compost fodder use. I wanted it to be microcut and figured that the 20 page capacity of this shredder would not be a problem using single sheets of card. The instructions explicitly say it doesn't use cardboard, so that was an objection on my part. But maybe everyone says that. The performance is not bad. The shredder handles my cardboard pretty well when it wants to and I think it will do fine as long as I keep it well oiled. The motor doesn't feel like it will stall like most cheap shredders would. But it's very picky about positioning, and that makes sanding more of a chore than it should be. You don't typically have this problem with cheaper shredders that lack features, or with much more expensive but more powerful ones. I really appreciate what the little wisps are trying to tell me, but I really wish the chopper would at least try to destroy before telling me it can't.
