Review on ☕ BUNN BT Speed Brew: 10-Cup Thermal Carafe Home Coffee Brewer in Black - Fast and Efficient! by Dana Wood

First I bought this to replace a BUNN GRB Velocity Brew I had for 8 years. I'm not sure if it's unusual for them to last so long or if I just took good care of them; but I was very sad to see that it was finally gone. Anyway, I originally wanted to buy the same model as it served me so well. However, my wife wanted something more modern. After reading some positive reviews and loving my other Bunn so much I decided to buy this coffee maker. After about two months of use, I can say that I am completely satisfied with my purchase. It looks very nice and feels very strong. I'm not sure if the coffee maker's performance matters, but it does have some weight. In terms of performance, it works great. It brews just as fast as my old Bunn and I really don't feel any difference in the coffee. I was a bit skeptical because of the missing heating plate, but the thermos keeps the coffee hot for a good 2 hours. My only complaint is that there is no way to measure the amount of water you're pouring. in the decanter. Since everything is metal, there's obviously no way to look through and judge the amount of coffee. There are no notches inside that can be used to measure. I end up measuring the water with my old transparent Banna carafe. This might not be a problem for those who cook a full pot each time, but I usually only make four to six cups. However, using an old carafe solves this problem. Overall this is a great product and it works very well. As a very forgetful person, the lack of a hotplate is actually quite nice. It prevents me from forgetting to turn it off. Also, it looks very stylish and modern. I am very satisfied with this coffee maker. It really looks like a 4.5 star product; But since it's not an option, it gets 4 stars.
