This is a long lasting ball. I would recommend it more to the beginner to intermediate level player who wants a better gold round ball than a range ball but don't want to spend ridiculous amounts of money on a ProV1 or a more expensive brand. You just aren't going to make as much progress in your high-end ball game with intermediate or entry-level skills as you would hope with more expensive balls. They are great for casual golfers who don't want to use water polo packs and distance balls. Sure, you'll lose some of them, but that makes losing new balls a lot less frustrating. I'd say for the price you really shouldn't have too many expectations, but after 18 holes I can say I'll probably get a few more packs.
