Not quite right on hydraulics, pneumatics and plumbing
I bought two of these to install a new water softener. I put them on normally and one is leaking. I took it apart and wrapped the threads in teflon tape and had to tighten it almost all the way to keep it from leaking. Then the second started leaking. I had to wrap teflon tape around it ten times and press against the flange to seal it. My guess is that the bagpipe's cone isn't entirely correct.
