Review on UAC CO 21625C C Compressor by Robin Naber

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good compressor at a good price

So far so good! Replaced the compressor on my 2012 Traverse as it appeared the front gaskets or crankcase gaskets on the original unit had failed. However, after installing this new unit and charging it up, I found that it is actually the upper condenser hose that runs from the compressor to the condenser with the low pressure sensor installed. The hose had a crack at the bottom (where it wasn't visible unless you removed the front bumper) and it splattered all over the compressor just below making it look like a compressor gasket. Not a problem as the original block was over 115k and the clutch was a bit noisy so it was time to replace it anyway. This new compressor seems to work great and is nice and quiet. Let's see how she holds up!
