After unhealed Achilles tendon surgery I started wearing clog-like shoes. They helped because they didn't put pressure or irritation on the wound. I first bought a pair of Merrell mules which are also comfortable but look like clogs. I think they're more stylish - unless people are looking they won't know they're clogs/mules. I bought the black ones first and liked them so much I bought the brown ones. I find they are a bit pricey but I used Hilton points to purchase so I didn't mind.
