Bought these for Polk TL2 speakers which weigh about four pounds. Seems pretty sturdy but I'm not sure if they can hold up to eight pounds. Pros: Universal mount so you need look no further - can be tilted, rotated in any direction and tightening the screws seems secure - for the price it's definitely worth it Cons: - only comes with one keyhole screw, which was impossibly small; I've bought others that came with different screws to make them fully versatile; had to make a trip to the hardware store, which wasn't a big deal considering the savings - doesn't hide the speaker wire if you want it
