Review on Bellows Retainer Ring Installation Tool for Alpha 1 Gen 2, Bravo, and Blackhawk U-Joint Bellows - Replacement for Mercruiser 91-818162, Merc by Durward Carlson

I purchased this tool to install a bellows retainer ring in my Alpha One Gen 2 sterndrive. There is nothing more to say, except that everything went well. The problem with installing these rings has more to do with the fact that the boot is held in a groove in the gimbal housing. If you can use Quicksilver's bellows glue and attach something to hold the bellows in place while the glue dries, this will make installing the trim ring easier. There are several methods on YouTube showing how to do this.
