At my Ford dealer this pump was used instead of a standard oil pump when the timing chain was changed. Found the driver's side camshaft to be clogged but decided to use a new pump and keep the truck running as long as possible. Should be able to get a few more years out of the truck. The truck runs great and there was a small leak under the camshaft main bearing cap. But with 60psi at the pump compared to the standard 40psi I get reserve oil pressure. The Ford dealer gave me a one year warranty on the labor but not on the pump. Welling gives you a year to pump, so I figured it would be good. The time will show. Unfortunately, Ford couldn't solve his problem.
