I am typically between a 6.0 and 6.5, especially if a wider width is offered on 4" stems. However, I suspected these would be too narrow at my usual size, and without the wider option, I upped the size by 0.5 and I'm glad I did. When I received them at work, I was able to fit them on without much difficulty, in spite of having no stockings on and my feet being a bit swollen from the day, so I am confident I will be okay with stockings and that little extra shoe tree stretch. They will be fantastic for the upcoming holiday events. On the plus, I love how the heel isn't covered in the sparkling fabric, which would be too easy to damage.
