Blunt, don't cut! A piece of clothing has hardly lasted.
I sew leotards and dance costumes, this blade was barely enough for a leotard project. After a few cuts it became dull, leaving huge uncut areas. Now if I roll it over the fabric unless I press so hard my fingers turn white it won't do anything. I have to make each cut half a dozen times, which just completely tears the fabric. If the blade is only enough for one outfit, it's not worth it. I tried sharpening it on foil but it didn't do anything. Maybe you just can't use this type of cutter on spandex/lycra fabrics?
