It's a bit unstable when the value is set to zero and it takes a while to settle near the value but it comes well close enough to work. I use it to test my PCB design for Raspberry Pi GPIO pins and to check the expected voltages. I will not recommend this if you need more accurate measurements like an electrician would. However, for the average user who doesn't need to be too precise, it will tell you if the pan is too hot or the amount of batter is too low.
