It was not necessary to get a new phone until the previous Xiaomi Mi 4 Pro was entirely unusable. This can be extremely frustrating. It was hoped that they would be able to remedy the issue by installing fresh firmware; however, this miracle did not occur either; the most recent firmware installed was dated September 2022. Firmware version Z.Y. was uploaded by hand, and then everything was tested. This did not add any additional levels of autonomy because there was still a "wire phone." At the time of purchasing, a source of questionable pleasure for those older than 40.
