Apotheke Charcoal Scented Hand Soap may seem a bit off-putting at first because it's really charcoal in colour, lathers well and smells fantastic. It has a slightly spicy and clean woody scent of cedar and sandalwood but is well balanced by the warmth and sweetness of oud and amber. I feel like the formula doesn't strip my hands of every molecule of oil, which is very important in autumn and especially winter. It feels very nice and rich on my hands and I like to wash my hands while using it. The scent stays pleasant on the skin, but not overpowering at all. I only smell warm wood for an hour after washing my hands and I love it. It's a bit pricey, but it smells so good, like you're in a spa. It is suitable for both men and women as a fragrance, but leans towards what is traditionally considered a "male" fragrance.
