I gave this to my adult daughter to review as she works in a school district with students with autism and is always on the lookout for curriculum, particularly curriculum that is functional. Her comments (from a professional):I'm loving these puzzles! I have seen these puzzles with letters, counting, sight words, addition, etc. repeatedly (in fact, I own many of them). However, I've never seen them with something as functional as food. These puzzles could be used to teach students to identify common food items, as well as to request. It will also allow them to practice their matching skills using more functional materials.The pieces seem like they will hold up to repeated use. I also love that the box is small enough to get thrown into my bag, yet the pieces are not too small for young children/ children with fine motor difficulties to easily grasp. I am looking forward to going back to school in person so that I can try these puzzles out with some students!
