Blocks midway from time to time

I really wish they only blocked in the fully closed or stored position. The lock is fully extended, I could handle it, but sometimes one side or the other is half locked. It's not convenient. This 20" kit extends 19-1/2". Since I decided to develop my own locking method, I didn't have a lock and reordered 24" as I needed each piece of 20" to clear the front of cabinet 3. I made my own Alpicool 50L fridge rail from a 2" reclaimed aluminum angle. The fasteners I used were 1/2" stainless steel pan head machine screws and red Loctite nuts to keep the nuts from vibrating. I would say the slide is quite heavy.
