When my father-in-law was on his last illness over fifteen years ago, it was difficult for me to give him calories. He refused to drink a popular nutritional shake for the elderly. I tried it and found out why - it was gross! I went to GNC and bought a product similar to this gainer. Weightlifters don't spend money on something that doesn't taste good. It worked. Fast forward to 2017 and my 98 year old grandma is slowing down and not eating as much. I bought this for her and we drank TWO cans. The extra 500+ calories per day to help her digest gave us extra time with her!
