Its best feature is the rear compartment

We're fans of the Radio Flyer Vans and Walker, but when it comes to tricycles I'm not sure if this model represents the best value for money. We have a Schwinn tricycle at home for our four year old grandson, but we needed another for our granddaughter. We ordered this because we thought most bikes were very similar. We were wrong. The Schwinn model has a stronger steel construction, real air tires and improved pedals. The plastic seat is more durable and has five adjustable positions. Most importantly, the seat is much lower than the floor. Our grandson has never fallen on his trike or come too close to it. This Radio Flyer tricycle just doesn't have the same stability. Since the Schwinn trike came with ties and a bell, we had to buy those extras for this pink bike. The only thing we like the most is the rear compartment. All kids love to carry cargo and ours are very fond of using this feature to transport all kinds of garbage. If you were to ask our granddaughter which of the two tricycles she likes better, she would happily choose this pink Radio Flyer simply because of the rear compartment. We are happy that she is happy. If you have a little girl who thinks the same way, this bike might just be for you. It is also the best trike for the home due to the plastic wheels and slightly smaller size. Maximum weight is 49 pounds. I have included photos showing the differences in construction, seat height and overall appearance.
