reader fast and high quality but be VERY careful. I didn't know it had a built in magnet so I foolishly put it on a portable hard drive and the magnet fried the drive. Totally unrecoverable due to physical damage to the hard drive platter. Thanks to this "handy" magnet feature, I've lost a terabyte of projects and related information. So don't be stupid like me and attach a strong magnet to your luggage rack and other than that it's a great device. Not sure if others have had this problem, but now I'm paranoid and keep the card reader in a separate compartment from all other electronics (camera, laptop, storage media) and keep it inside the camera body where there aren't any fragile rotating ones Slices or other items that could be used for frying.
