This formula is definitely a cleanser... I wouldn't call it a wax. It cleans surfaces well but does not polish them. I was able to remove a few superficial stains and remove some dust/dirt from the dash and cup holders. This cleaner leaves no streaks or haze. The cherry flavor is pleasant, not too sharp. I was a little concerned it would be sickeningly sweet or cough syrup. It's not, it's very subtle and pleasant. The sprayer sprays well, the flow rate is small. I would like to point out that the liquid is pink, so be careful with lighter colored surfaces. For stains, I would look in a separate place first. All in all a good car cleaner. I love that it's a multi-surface cleaner...fewer bottles hanging in my garage.
