Purchased as a surge protector for the Tonal Gym. I wanted something with fewer cables because they would get in the way of my workout. That was excellent. Then it occurred to me that with this surge protector, my bathroom and kitchen outlets could charge more devices in less space. I ended up buying four. It doesn't look very nice when there are many connected elements. I also tend to pay attention to what you plug in. I had a brief fire inspector consultation on outlets and appliances in my office. So I follow these recommendations. I can't explain them but I'm sure you can find videos online to be on the safe side. Just because you can plug anything into an outlet doesn't mean you have to.
