The construction of this mini tripod is poor (mostly cheap plastic), but since I only use it to mount small and light RGB LEDs, it works great. After all, you get what you pay for. Surprisingly, given the quality of the building materials, it looks beautiful. On the other hand, it is so cheap that you can buy several of these mini tripods and mount several lights or small cameras. I would not recommend using this to support large SLR cameras. but if you want to stabilize cellphones or other small cameras, that works in a pinch. If you are not a budget conscious photographer/filmmaker, skip this step and go for something higher quality and with a stronger frame, especially if you plan to mount a DSLR. That being said, this tripod offers excellent value for the money.
