Glass breaks over time
As mentioned, glass breaks too easily. I was very careful with it, but after 3 weeks the lid still had a small crack. After a few more weeks of use, it got so big that it started leaking. This French press works great when it's not broken, but good luck keeping it that way when you're tired in the morning trying to make your first cup of coffee.
