These adhesive hooks are very easy to 'install', if you could call it that. They work in the same way that Command strips work, and they seem to match the name brand in quality and performance, too. I have used two of these hooks. One is holding electrical cords on the side of a cabinet to keep them off the floor, so it isn't anywhere near its 3lb. weight limit. The other holds a set of binoculars. They are a compact set, but they do have some weight to them. And still, the hook holds them up with no hint of weakness or instability. I'm not necessarily crazy about the white color, but I'm much more concerned with how well they function than how they fit my decor.I haven't had to remove either hook yet, so I don't know how extensive any potential damage might be.
