I recently purchased the Etnies Kids Joslin Skate Shoe in the Black/Black/Gum colorway for my 12 year old son and overall I am very happy with this purchase. The shoes are not only stylish, but also comfortable and durable, making them perfect for kids who enjoy skateboarding or other outdoor sports. One of the standout features of the shoe is its well-cushioned outsole, which offers ample support and cushioning. This is especially important for young skateboarders, who can be prone to falls and impact-related injuries. My son reports that he feels much more stable in these shoes than in his previous pairs, which I attribute to the quality of the sole. In terms of style, the black/black/ribbon colorway is a classic look that easily pairs with a variety of outfits. The suede upper is durable and stylish, while the rubber outsole adds a nice contrast. The shoes also have subtle Etnies branding which my son appreciates as he's not a fan of overly flashy shoes. A small issue we had is that the shoes run a bit small as my son normally wears a size 11.5 but he needed a size 12 for this style. This may not be an issue for everyone, but I would recommend getting a size up just in case to ensure a comfortable fit. Overall I would highly recommend the Etnies Kids Joslin skate shoe to parents looking for a comfortable, stylish and durable option for their active kids. While not the cheapest shoe on the market, I find the quality and features justify the price. I give this shoe four stars out of five.
