Update January 6, 2021: The timer started making strange clicks. I thought the batteries might be dead so I changed them. The clicking didn't stop and now the timer isn't working again. I would NOT recommend this product. Too many problems and short lifespan. Update: In my search for a new visual timer, I found that all other brands instruct the user to rotate the dial 55 minutes before setting the desired time. I tried it, the timer works great! The manufacturer should add this to the description. Back on my list HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! First check: Used the visual timer for 31 days. We had a situation earlier in the week where the son had a 4 minute break and it seemed like it was going on forever. Since we didn't have any problems, we assumed we were all just being moody. I set a timer for dinner tonight and after 41 minutes only 13 minutes have passed. Sorry this product is a bad waste of my money. Before he was naughty we all loved him and actually just ordered a green one for our other son. I hope I can undo it.
