I liked it a lot better than I expected. I do this to elevate my laptop so its screen is flush with my monitors. There are 3-4 different angles you can adjust the stand. The reason I originally bought it was because my laptop got very hot, especially when I was playing games on it. All of the vents that my computer uses for cooling are on the bottom of my laptop. When a laptop is laid flat, it blocks or restricts much of the airflow. The mesh allows air to flow freely into the vents and lifts them for even more airflow. My computer runs a little cooler and quieter because the fans don't have to run as hard to keep my computer cool. I didn't really expect this to lead to much improvement, but I was deeply impressed with the results. All pretty reliable.
