Review on 🪨 Mestool 58-AP 100pc Assorted Grit Sanding Discs: Includes 60, 80, 120, 150, and 220 Grits by Sean Patel

I bought a DeWalt DWE6421K 5 inch random orbit sander to polish a 34 year old solid maple kitchen table for the third time. The maple table has been upholstered in polyurethane but not stained. The paintwork had crumbled to the point of showing traces of ink, glitter, and other stains, and the surface was sticky. I don't know why I thought I needed so much sandpaper, probably because I've never had a random orbit sander. before and thought I might need several sheets of each grit. To get rid of all the ink and glitter, we had to start with a 60 grit. The sanding sheets fit and stayed on this sander very well, and we only needed one sheet per grit to make a 5ft x 3ft countertop, edging and both table legs on the ends. Between each sanding, before moving on to the next coarser grit, we vacuumed and used a sticky cloth. We sanded with 220 grit and the surface is very smooth and natural. I think at the rate we are making projects we will have enough sandpaper for the rest of our lives!
