Three weeks have passed and so far so good. Great shower head I really like that extracts beans evenly. Although the steel carafe - I really hate it. That ruins the coffee. No matter how much you rub, soak in vinegar, etc., that bitter, burnt smell lingers and seeps into the next cup of coffee. I don't know how lovers of good coffee deal with it, but I definitely can't. The glass carafe is fragile but necessary. I wish Ratio would put some of that creative energy into developing a better glass carafe that might be a bit more thermal. Or maybe just a better steel carafe - I don't know. But this thing really steals the experience.
