We bought this for our Febo Flame electric fireplace when the flame rod motor stopped working. It works and we're glad our chimney is finally working and running again, but since it's a bi-directional motor we have to turn the chimney on and off TWICE before the flame goes in the right direction, log-to-log above, not on him. My husband is trying to figure out a way to make the switch go into counter-clockwise mode automatically without having to cycle the power. We are very glad this was an option rather than buying a brand new fireplace. The only thing that was a little disappointing was that it took a while to arrive but it was sent by the seller not Revain and I don't think anything could have been done to get it to us quicker bring to. Update: After running the fireplace for the past few days, the motor has moved in the correct direction the last 3 times we've turned it on without having to cycle the power. We are very happy with it and are changing our rating to 5 stars.
