Just what I need for my chain swing. The post swing has an extension and comes with a cap for this extension. But I don't use an extension, so I needed a larger cap to cover the horizontal space under my mailbox. Check out my photo and download gmail to see what I'm talking about. Someone walked by and a baseball hit my mailbox. I simply attached the horizontal portion of the chain mail swing to my wooden post. Now my mailbox makes a wide arc and spins in an arc when someone hits it. If my wooden post is knocked out, I use an extension cord and attach everything to the metal fence post.
