I use this in my Dell E6530 work laptop. I wanted to have my own personal operating system to boot and with that and an SSD I could install Windows 10 and dual boot. I was concerned about the fit and finish but it fits well. I don't miss the optical drive at all, but I keep it in my bag on the rare occasion I might need it. The only negative I can say about it is that I wish it didn't have that nasty blue LED. He is very bright! Pros: Fits great. Nothing looks out of place when you look at it installed. Fast Hard Drive Access Quickly swap out for other media bay accessories. Cons: The blue LED is very bright.
