This is exactly the block you need for synthetic rope

The other blocks I have are made for much thicker rope. Synthetic line rolls off the spool and gets caught between the spool and block body unless you take care of it. This block is perfect for synthetic lines like my Warn Drill winch. Used it the other day to winch a 500lb section of artificial turf (that still had black rubber balls in the carpet) onto the back of a truck. I couldn't do it with my other Dash blocks.
