Review on Accurate Norpro 5981 Espresso Thermometer for Optimal Brewing - One Size, As Shown by Dora Macias

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easy to use, even before morning coffee.

5 stars because it's a generic thermometer that does exactly what it's supposed to do. Bought and no problems at all. We used to froth milk for coffee using a standard kitchen thermometer, which always seemed to be off. I suspect a dedicated espresso thermometer just means the display will show the optimal/recommended milk temperature faster, but the reading is dated and easy to read when you're tired and haven't had your coffee yet for obvious reasons Nice, the arrow in red to get and know what you did. I appreciated the general instructions for calibrating the thermometer when it starts ringing, so we've kept that. I prefer old spring thermometers to digital ones because I can set them up and no batteries are needed. I hope this item will last for years.
