I just got a new 16" MacBook Pro 8 CPU 2.4GHz 32GB RAM and 8GB video. I'm into DevOps so some screens will help. This screen is the same one Apple sells on their website. However even the latest MacBooks can get pretty hot with an external monitor plugged in: unplug the monitor and the laptop cools down immediately, plug it back in and it warms up again with WindowServer, which is often the main process consuming the CPU The screen is noticeably sharper and the colors are brighter. , this is from a programmer who is interested in photography. I would buy it again. There are 2 Thunderwire 3 ports on the back (which you can use to power your Mac ) as well as 3 USB-C ports, so you essentially get a monitor and docking station.
