Do what they say, heat it up in the 2nd sun.
I have read the reviews. I put mine on the dash in direct sunlight for about an hour, the temperature was only 36F, but with the car closed the dash easily hits 80F. After feeling warm to the touch, it passed a try. I just had surgery on my left arm so I did it with one arm. it looks cool, doesn't slip and i'm happy.
