I needed a way to fit an internal Plextor M5M PX-256M5M 256GB Mini-SATA (mSATA) MLC SSD into my ASUS N56JN-MH71 laptop. So I found this special case. The mSATA SSD card fitted snugly into the case board slot and was secured with the included screws. After putting the case cover on, it fitted perfectly into the laptop's drive bracket and SATA slot. Along with another third-party hard drive carrier, I replaced the optical drive and moved the laptop's original 1TB hard drive in its place. I applied a little Macrium Reflect magic (which takes a few steps) and was finally able to complete my setup with two drives, a 256GB SSD as the primary drive and a 1TB HDD as the secondary drive. On my dual boot installation of Windows 8.1 Pro and Ubuntu 15.04 Vivid Vervet: Windows 8.1: From power on to desktop around 12-15 seconds. Ubuntu: From power on to desktop around 12-13 seconds. GRUB entry and entering my password on the login screens.
