I get along pretty well with regular chopsticks. This is a deluxe edition and it takes a little practice to really get the hang of it all. I tried making General Tso's chicken and while it was roasting I wished I had something better than a flipping fork/pulling out my freshly roasted nuggets. I remembered that chopsticks are also used in cooking so I went and got my human sized chopsticks and they made the rest of the interaction with cooking oil much easier. I thought "These are perfect for frying" and went to Revane to see if they had chopsticks. $7 for 2 sets? good enough for me I've used them a few times since they arrived and they are perfect for stirring, turning food when frying in oil or cooking in boiling water in a saucepan. The length protects you from the attack of boiling splashes. They are straight and look exactly like the product photo. I'm still improving my grip but I'm glad I have them. It's also great when I want to grab a bite from my wife's plate.
