They can be washed in the dishwasher!

I loved these so much. They are very easy to keep. I was afraid they would be too thick to hold with my fingers, but not really.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Hard to remember but it was

Not suitable for cooking!

Chopsticks arrived today, beautiful weight and appearance. So we used them when we cooked pasta tonight. Two minutes after being in hot water, they began to crack and became very rough. They are not durable for cooking. Avoid!

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Extra Long Chopsticks

These are wooden chopsticks that are 16.5 inches long. They are very long. That is a good thing. You might not think you need 16.5-inch chopsticks, but when butter slams viciously in your hand trying to turn food in a pan, you'll quickly learn that length matters.

Pros
  • Easy Installation
Cons
  • Poorly Thoughtful

A very common kitchen utensil in the Asian family

The length of the chopsticks is perfect. Long enough to allow the heat to escape the pan, but not too long that it becomes too heavy and difficult to hold. And it's very convenient for moving ingredients in a pan or flipping hard items such as chicken breasts or dried tofu. More precise control over the ingredients in the pan is what makes it important for people who roast or fry often.

Pros
  • Useful for more than its intended purpose
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Perfect length for stove top use and a well balanced product.

Bought these for my daughter and she loves them. Their length is very useful when blending on the stove. Don't worry they will be short and burn you. The sticks are thick (uncomfortable) and not thin at all. You can easily pick up a large amount of noodles without worrying about the chopsticks breaking. The sticks are well balanced in the hand. I would recommend them and am very happy with this purchase.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Do Not Buy: Probably Food Safe

Received these and washed them the first time and they started giving off a red color that looked like varnish, staining my sponge and done up the sink made . Gave them a scent and it didn't smell like something meant to go to dinner. I don't know what they're coated with, but it's probably not food safe. The wood felt very rough/splintered after washing, so it's obvious it wasn't sanded properly or made from very low quality wood. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone and not worth the health risk.

Pros
  • High marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not bad

Longer than you think

They were a little awkward at first because they are a lot longer than I'm used to. However, after much practice, I don't drop anything anymore. Well, almost never. But it's not the instrument that's to blame for my inability, as my parents were always quick to remind me of. (Thanks Mom and Dad) Once I got through that awkward phase, I was very happy with them. They allow me to get things off the boat without burning myself. And now that I have the dexterity, I can lift the lid, take out the…

Pros
  • Featured
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Regular users of these Donxote wooden chopsticks will feel like I've contaminated them for modifying them. But wait a minute and give me a shot: I'm actually a big fan. I needed a long, heat-resistant hummingbird nectar stirrer, which I mix in large, heavy, custom-made jars at our home in New England and our Columbia apartment on campus . Quality is important not only because it's difficult to find a product that performs as well every week, but also because my fingers are at risk if it doesn't

Pros
  • Chopstick stand and holder
Cons
  • Not sure

Great chopsticks for wok or frying pan

Lately I've been cooking a lot of Chinese stir-fries and Japanese food, sometimes in a wok big enough that I need tools for a long time. Even without a wok, the wooden version of the tongs is useful for protecting a non-stick pan or Iga-Yaki Donabe. Nonetheless, they are fairly easy to clean – just gently roll them together under running water, perhaps with a little washing-up liquid, and wipe dry. In terms of ease of use, keep in mind that all chopsticks of this length are more difficult to…

Simple and effective

I get along pretty well with regular chopsticks. This is a deluxe edition and it takes a little practice to really get the hang of it all. I tried making General Tso's chicken and while it was roasting I wished I had something better than a flipping fork/pulling out my freshly roasted nuggets. I remembered that chopsticks are also used in cooking so I went and got my human sized chopsticks and they made the rest of the interaction with cooking oil much easier. I thought "These are perfect for…
