I like the minimalist design. The same side stand (probably from the same manufacturer) comes with a cheap 29 inch MTB sold by a well known supermarket chain and it does the job just fine. Since the Ventura footrest has the same specs (fits wheels up to 29" in diameter and 15.4" in length), I ordered it for my own 29" mountain bike. However, the part I received is only 13 inches, making it unusable for its intended purpose. And as mentioned in other comments, the side stay doesn't match the chainstay diameter and needs to be adjusted. However, I returned the item.
