incorrect length specification

I like the minimalist design. The same side stand (probably from the same manufacturer) comes with a cheap 29 inch MTB sold by a well known supermarket chain and it does the job just fine. Since the Ventura footrest has the same specs (fits wheels up to 29" in diameter and 15.4" in length), I ordered it for my own 29" mountain bike. However, the part I received is only 13 inches, making it unusable for its intended purpose. And as mentioned in other comments, the side stay doesn't match the…

Ease of installation. Best in Cycling

Update - not a fan. It was difficult to work with and stuck out very far when lifted. About the fourth time I took the bike out, the spring came loose. Plugged it back in and flew again. I had to velcro it up to get home. I thought I would buy another one that attaches to the rear bar (because I thought it was cheaper) but this one is better (attaches to the bolt that holds the tire). It was very easy to install and I think less likely to scratch my paintwork. This is my second machine of this…

cheap but strong. What I like best is the all steel construction, unlike some of the more expensive coasters that have plastic parts, this one is all steel so it's not likely to crack over time. I see the issue mentioned by some reviewers that the stand won't stay put. in the upper position and lowers when driving over bumps. I have found that the reason for this is that the stopper that stops the stand in the up position is too big. After filing it a little, the stand can be raised higher when

Rear steel running board

This stand is made of steel. This is a terrible choice for those who ride off-road and is not intended for off-road riders as hitting bumps can cause this kickstand to unlock and fall off. For road users, this is the right choice. Because it's made of steel, it can be bent, cut, and fitted to almost any bike if needed. The flange that attaches it to the axle can be knocked off and flattened for different diameter outlet pipes. I had several of these for my bikes and I had one that didn't lock…

Functional Jiffystand

The price of this axle stand convinced me in part because it looked like it would fit my RANS Tailwind with 20" tires better than a chainstay/seatstay stand. works, but the proximal end flanges, which are designed to mate with the chainstay, do not accommodate a dropout that is flush with the chainstays, which can be the case on many bikes. Then secure it with a 1-1/4" cable tie. I've found that when I put my bag on this footrest, it doesn't fold up the way I'd like and I end up bending over…

Great (and cheap) e-bike stand

A little background: I recently converted my 20" Diamondback Outlook mountain bike into an e-bike and needed a new stand to take the extra weight ( about 90 pounds) to deal with in total) ). After trying a few center pins and being unhappy with the reduced ride height and chain friction issues, I decided to try the rear axle model. I found that the slotted hole that goes to the axle was a bit too small to miss the threads on the axle, so I took a rounded file and cut off enough metal in both…

Can be retrofitted to any bike

When I first bought this footpeg I bought it with the intention of installing it on my carbon road bike because unlike most road cyclists, the footpegs despise because of their attractiveness or their weight I like coasters because of their usefulness. The footpeg did not fit the carbon road bike as the axle mount was recessed and I didn't bother to adjust the footpeg. A month later I sold the bike and bought a Catbike Musashi instead, which is a mid-size recumbent. kind of bike. Definitely the
