The price of this axle stand convinced me in part because it looked like it would fit my RANS Tailwind with 20" tires better than a chainstay/seatstay stand. works, but the proximal end flanges, which are designed to mate with the chainstay, do not accommodate a dropout that is flush with the chainstays, which can be the case on many bikes. Then secure it with a 1-1/4" cable tie. I've found that when I put my bag on this footrest, it doesn't fold up the way I'd like and I end up bending over and the I think the stem they used for the footpeg center plate is too thick for the flanges which had to be widened further to accommodate different bike chainstays.
