Update - not a fan. It was difficult to work with and stuck out very far when lifted. About the fourth time I took the bike out, the spring came loose. Plugged it back in and flew again. I had to velcro it up to get home. I thought I would buy another one that attaches to the rear bar (because I thought it was cheaper) but this one is better (attaches to the bolt that holds the tire). It was very easy to install and I think less likely to scratch my paintwork. This is my second machine of this type and both have worked great. One on a larger men's road bike and one on a smaller women's mountain bike. Would buy again.
