When I first bought this footpeg I bought it with the intention of installing it on my carbon road bike because unlike most road cyclists, the footpegs despise because of their attractiveness or their weight I like coasters because of their usefulness. The footpeg did not fit the carbon road bike as the axle mount was recessed and I didn't bother to adjust the footpeg. A month later I sold the bike and bought a Catbike Musashi instead, which is a mid-size recumbent. kind of bike. Definitely the same problem with the lack of stand in the market. To make this stand work, I cut out the part that will serve as the clip on the chain. Essentially remove the part that is interfering with the installation on the bike. I used an angle grinder to cut and file the piece. So now I have a use for the coaster (had a paperweight as it didn't fit) and it now serves a useful purpose. The stand is a little fiddly with the lever and locking mechanism, but otherwise works well. Not for the weight (probably 1lb weight). Have fun driving!
