Review on Sierra International 18 5294 Electronic Distributors by Jesus Jenkins

Ordered Sierra International Marine Electronics Conversion Kit 18-5294 for my 1987 OMC 3.0L 4 Cylinder GM Engine. The round black plastic center piece that needs to be slipped over the center camshaft of the distributor is for a 5 lobe cam, my distributor has a 4 lobe cam. The description of this conversion kit states that it is suitable for this engine distributor. Is this a known issue or was this kit packaged with the wrong part? In either case, you must remove, repack, and return what has been installed. Will have to try someone else's product.
