I bought this product simply because it had the same specs as the 8GB drive that came with my HP Pavilion Gaming PC. When I looked closely at the modules on the flash drive I received, I found that they use Samsung memory modules. There is no heatsink, which I think is clear from the listing, so overclocking might not be the best idea. When using it on my gaming PC I had no problems with it. I would have preferred a faster kit for gaming or other CPU and RAM dependent workloads, but since I couldn't afford a 3000MHz 16GB kit, this is a great alternative, especially when compared to "official RAM , which is compatible with HP" received as they wanted. . Overall a good but reliable product. The official matching flash drive from HP, which I must say looks EXACTLY like this flash drive, just different brand modules, costs OVER $100! And the timing and speed are the same. Even the traces on the PCB are the same, a slightly different PCB color is the biggest difference. Good quality, good price, happy customer here.
