Hand wash, dishwasher safe, I give them a quick rinse, add a drop of dish soap, a few drops of bleach, add water, shake them and let them sit for a day. removes stains, odors and I've never had a problem with Blender Bottle brand polymers. I expect the same from them. Try this cleaning trick if you're having trouble with shaker stinks! It put me off forever.
