Review on Jessica Acekit Lightweight Aluminum Bicycle Handlebar, 31.8mm (1 1/4 inch) - Ideal for Road Bike & Mountain Bike by Scott King

I replaced the stock bars on my GT Aggressor Pro with these vertical bars. I shortened them to 740 mm because they were too wide for me at 760 mm (actually measured 770 mm). They really helped change the handling of my bike along with the short stem. I mainly rode them on XC trails with small jumps, drops, etc. Last weekend we went to Jump Park. Everything was great until I fell head over heels over the handlebars and the bike flipped over. The bars bent on the left side but didn't break. I'm sure the force of my landing and push bent them, I weigh 204 pounds. I took them off the bike and used a metal fence to straighten them as much as possible in the park. I continued to use them for the rest of the day and they have held up well. Am I disappointed that I bent the bars? Yes. Am I disappointed in the bars themselves? No, I think they survived the impact just fine considering the forces they were subjected to. I will order another set. As you can see in the picture I got the left bar, the right side of the pattern, pretty close without clicking it.
