We recently had to replace our 1957 ultra high flow toilet with a trendy new low flow model. Unfortunately, our family was ill-prepared for such luxuries and naively failed to understand that old habits would quickly create an ugly situation. We were so excited about our non-slamming toilet seat that we didn't realize the impending disaster we were facing until it happened. our seldom used but old and reliable piston broke, only to find out the hard way that it was utterly useless for the task at hand. While the internet saved the day with helpful tips about warm water with washing-up liquid and the toilet, splashing in water filled with faeces for two hours was NO fun. The next day we went to a big store and bought a new flask. Unfortunately, that too was derailed a few days later when one of our kids wasn't able to combine a gentle flush with holding down the handle to ensure maximum flow. Thanks to a new but utterly inefficient piston, we're back to switchbacks, foaming and hot water delivery. Something HAD to give! Lots of internet searching, hundreds of reviews read and a leap of faith to bring the Beehive flask into our homes. Immediately after his arrival, we had another opportunity to delve into hobby plumbing. Only this time the piston worked! It worked so fast we thought maybe it was a coincidence. Unfortunately, we've had the opportunity to use it *multiple* times and I'm very happy to report that it continues to work like a champ! Say goodbye to hours of frustration and fecal splatter on our floors and gloved hands! Thank god for this product!
